Before you book
Book the Uffizi, the Accademia and the dome climb before you fly: all three sell timed entries, and summer slots go days ahead. The centre is small enough to walk, and the Ponte Vecchio and the squares around the Duomo cost nothing.
How many days do you need in Florence?
Two days for the main museums and the Duomo, three with a day trip to Pisa or Siena.
Do I need to book the Uffizi and the Accademia?
Yes, for a timed entry: without one the queue can take hours. Both are closed on Mondays.
Can I climb the Duomo without a ticket?
